Mayor's Address

As mayor, I would like to welcome you to the City of Carrollton. Carrollton is located at the confluence of the Kentucky and Ohio Rivers. Carrollton offers many recreational opportunities, such as the city-owned Point Park which includes a public boat ramp, pavilion, shelter houses, new playground equipment, new bathroom facility, volleyball court, skate park, a splash park, a new baseball field, soccer goals, and several other amenities.

Carrollton also offers camping at its new state-of-the-art 33-site 2 Rivers Campground with full-service hook-ups and a bathhouse. It is open year-round, so if you are traveling south in the winter or north in the spring and need an overnight site, visit 2RiversCampground.com to make reservations.

Carrollton offers a river walk connecting downtown with the campground.  Adjacent to the city is General Butler State Resort Park. We have a visitor's center in our downtown historic district that can direct you to shopping and other entertainment in town.

I formally invite you to visit Carrollton, where rivers and people meet. I look forward to seeing you soon.
