Welcome

The City of Carrollton is a fourth class city with 3,846 residents per the 2000 census.  Carrollton was established in 1838 and is bordered on the west by the Kentucky River and the north by the Ohio River which  meet at picturesque Point Park.   Carrollton is the county seat of Carroll County.

The City has a Mayor/Council form of government.  Council meetings are held on the 2nd Monday  and 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the City Building at 750 Clay St.
